Shrivardhan Municipal Council: Preparation of Detailed Project Report of Storm Water Drain for Shrivardhan Municipal Council under UIDSSMT
Actual Services provided by Suncon:
- Preparation of Contour base map of SMC & Study of existing condition & taking photographs of Nalas & Need for their development.
- Study of standards used for Storm Water Drain Project.
- Existing domestic population & population projection by Arithmetical, Geometrical & Incremental increase method up to year 2040.
- Calculation of ward wise population projection & densities for year 2001, 2009, 2025 & 2040.
- Preparation of 9 districts according to the topography of SMC.
- Use of Manning’s formula, Co-efficient of Roughness n= 0.015, Calculation of storm water runoff by Rational Method, Permissible Velocity as 6m/sec., Coefficient of Runoff as 0.8 to 0.9, Maintaining Froude’s number less than 1.75 for Design of Storm water drains.
- Design, Estimate & Typical sketch of all proposed storm water drains maintaining their levels, velocity, sizes, discharge & Froude’s number. The Width of Nala varies from 0.35 m to 18.96 m, Depth varies from 0.3 m to 2.18 m & length varies from 28 m to 1270 m.
- Total length of proposed Nala to be constructed is 4 KM.
- Checking Adequacy, Design & Estimates of Existing CD works & where necessary replacing the CD work in BOX Culvert & New CD works are proposed in BOX type. Total 5 CD works are replaced by Box type in this DPR. The Proposed Width of Box culvert varies from 1.45 m to 2.5 m & Depth varies from 0.5 m to 1.4 m.
- Financial pattern of the scheme is formulated.
- Implementation schedule & phasing of Expenditure, Total Annual Burden due to O& M & Revenue collection is studied.
